Reside, located in Cambridge MA, is Boston’s premiere source for mid-century modern. “The diverse and constantly evolving collection includes original works of great design, as well as rare, out of production, and hard to find pieces by some of the era’s greatest designers and manufacturers. Reside also offers unique and intriguing home accessories that compliment the collection, including vintage art, ceramics, designer rugs, throws and pillows, African textiles and artifacts.”
Yesterday’s visit to Reside was both inspiring and educational! I had a wonderful conversation with owner/buyer Pamela Watts, and was fortunate enough to meet her stylish and talented daughter Nicole (check out Nicole’s beautiful handcrafted jewelry at NYX Studio)! Thank you for welcoming me!
Now it goes without saying that the vintage furnishings are a must see but I have to say I was most impressed with the mix of art and accessories ~ especially the vast collection of African textiles and artifacts. I’m in love with the kuba cloth custom pillows! (see second to last picture) You really have to see them in person to fully appreciate the texture, color and beauty of the textiles. Gorgeous! I also love the collection of vintage art ~ everything from photography to paintings to mixed media ~ what a great resource! So next time you are on your way to Harvard Square, take Concord Ave and visit Reside! Enjoy!!

Danielle,
Again, beautiful photography! I think you should state somewhere which photos are yours. That way you have designated them your property. You are great at always identifying the photo’s from other web sites. Give yourself the same credit!!!!
Yes, thank you for the suggestion! I have since updated the posts I photographed!
