Love the paintings!
Really love every one of the paintings you selected in this post. Living in Santa Fe, I of course appreciate your including the O’Keeffe, it is infused with such energy.
Thanks for starting the weekend with such inspiration!
Do you know The Magic Apple Tree by Samuel Palmer Danielle?
Yes, a wonderful work of art! Palmer describes that artistic time in his career (1830) as the happiest and most creative period of his life…maybe this has some influence on his use of golden yellow ~ happiness, hope, optimism!
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
best,

This is a great post. Really enjoy the combination of variety and homogeny.
Great collection of art, I really like what you’ve put together here. I just painted my bedroom a dark charcoal grey called Knight’s Armor by Olympic, with some warm tone furniture and cream linens with red accents. My favorite part is a collection of Rothko prints matted and framed behind the headboard. Makes such a great contrast with some of the more traditional touches.
