today’s post finds its inspiration from this rustic loaf of bread and sculptural white asparagus…rough-hewn wood floors may echo the uneven tone and texture of the bread while a clean-lined white sofa may take its cue from the long lean form of the asparagus…interiors with a complimentary palette and textural content…enjoy!

happy weekend!

the art of editing…

chefs, composers, architects, poets, filmmakers, designers, painters…

all who create, edit…it is an integral part of the artistic process…

sometimes it is the silent pause or the blank space that creates a masterpiece

I discovered this wall of art while exploring interiors from skona hem…I just had to post this Danish country home for its raw artistic vibe…certain walls were stripped down to the mortar exposing a sepia colored collage, a beautiful counterpoint to the white walls and ceilings…the sketches are by Michael Kvium, beloved pieces that homeowners Henrik Busk and his wife Stine have collected over the years…the Poul Kjaeerholms daybed is a flea market bargain and fits perfectly beneath the art…I truly love this home for its artful soul…no pretense, just a true love of texture, art and design…wishing you a wonderful spring weekend!
