I came home last night thinking about the connection between music and art, especially that of the french impressionists. I had just performed a piece by french composer Albert Roussel (1869 – 1937) and for some reason his music always stirs my emotions and heightens my senses. It’s this deep connection to music that draws me even closer to art. I feel transported to another world, a place where anything is possible…
