Yesterday’s post featured the ultra chic Miles Redd and his iconic mirrored master bathroom. I couldn’t help but think about mirrors and the important role they play in architecture and interior design. From grand to petite, circular to linear, simple to ornate, they have the power to transform a space from dull to dazzling. I’m excited to share with you some of my favorite mirrored interiors! The October 2010 issue of Traditional Home magazine features up and coming Washington DC designer Paul Corrie! I posted about the brilliant Washington DC designer Darryl Carter yesterday and like Darryl, Paul was educated as a lawyer before switching to design. I wonder if there is a connection between law and interior design?! Certainly their ability to negotiate is a valuable asset! I’m thankful that Traditional Home featured Paul’s own home and personal story. It is with his own choices that we truly see his aesthetic. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more from this young talent!
