Today’s post features a gorgeous country home in Segovia, Spain designed by Isabel Lopez-Quesada…I’m instantly seduced by the rough hewn wood and graphic marble floors…this artful foundation works as her canvas and like a painter, she layers shape, texture and color to create living compositions…for me, every room feels like a work of art

One look at Isabel Lopez-Quesada‘s work and you can see why the design world is buzzing…serious about her passion for interior design, she started her own business at the ripe young age of 20…now, two decades later, she is a style star in her hometown of Madrid and quickly gaining world wide recognition…when asked to define her aesthetic philosophy for an interview with AD, she replied, “A house, like a person, should blend traditions and modernity”…this simple yet utterly sophisticated mantra is gracefully echoed in all of her work…a nod to the past but with an eye to the future…
