“The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.” ~ Hans Hofmann
Having just posted two projects designed by Kathleen Clements Design and Briggs Edward Solomon, I thought it would be fitting to explore the solo work of Briggs Edward Solomon…let’s begin with this Coral Gables home filled with an artful mix of old and new…primitive wood tables happily co-exist with pristine white sofas and chairs…an elegant daybed feels fresh when paired with a Saarinen tulip table and a graphic black and white striped rug…effortless pairings that excite the senses and leave me wanting more!

Love the quote…and the marble floors are insane!
Beautiful balance! Particularly love the living room and bedroom. The contrast of black and white is stunning.
Simply lovely, as usual.
Clearly a house with no pets or children with those photos perched precariously on the steps! Everything else was lovely in my favorite black and white.
Absolutely gorgeous! One of the best homes that I have seen in an age! SGHx
