As Executive Vice President & Chief Retail Creative Officer at Ralph Lauren, Alfredo Paredes is the person responsible with guiding the creation of the company’s famously evocative environments (which translates into everything from store design to product presentation)…RL’s newest collection, Desert Modern, is inspired by the vast beauty of the Western frontier…many of the fabrics and textures in this collection are echoed in Alfredo’s NYC penthouse…sumptuous suede upholstery, calming earth tones, and warm woods unite…I’m especially fond of the accessories and tableware…clean lines and natural materials feel fresh and ready for spring…enjoy!

There’s such an elegant and monastic atmosphere to the collection. I love the juxtaposition of raw, earth tones with sumptuous fabrics.
Having lived in New Mexico for most of my life, I think this collection is lovely.
Far more subtle than the Southwest design that others usually present.
Looks like this photo shoot may have been in southern Utah, which is a beautiful area of the country. Only part of the collection that I didn’t care for was the replication of Navajo designs on the pillow and throw. Thank you for sharing this, it was indeed a treat!
RL always finds the right mix of accessories fabrics and furniture. I loved the cream and tan throughout the collection. Have a great time at the AD show.
Cannot wait to hear all you get to experience as an invited guest!
Danielle I am so happy I found you. I love, love this collection. it is so comfortable and a great mix of textures. Perfect RL.

Climb the mesa in the morning and then go for a dip in the pool! I think I’d have a lot of fun here! It’s interesting to note that every piece that is not tied to the earth tones, are natural. the water from the pool, the turquoise paperweights, and plants really breath life into this desert dream. Thank you for sharing
